What's the best £5k car for a learner driver?
My partner is looking into buying a car for her 17 year son to help pass his test and to keep through university. They have £5000 to spend, but don't know what to buy. Can you help?

The standard choice is those with the lowest insurance and lowest running costs, so Citroen C1, Peugeot 107/108, Toyota Aygo, Fiat Panda, Fiat 500, Nissan Tino, Suzuki Alto, SEAT Mii, Skoda Citigo, VW Up. Unfortunately our new Choose a Car feature is not yet programmed to cover used cars.
