Why does my Citroen C5 keep cutting out?

I have a Citroen C5 estate 1.6 diesel (2006 model). It's done approx 73k miles and has always been serviced on time. A While ago I got the anti-pollution message and the car cut out while exiting a roundabout. I waited a few seconds and the car started up fine and ran for another 100 miles before cutting out, on another roundabout. The problem continues every 100 miles. Any ideas what could be wrong?

The car has an Eolys fuelled Diesel Particulate Filter and the reservoir of Eolys has probably run out of fluid.
