Need a good three-door diesel - any recommendations?
I need to buy 2.0-litre hatchback with three-doors. I have £15,000 to spend and quite like the Volkswagen Golf. Are there any other cars I should consider before biting the bullet?

Obviously needs to be an MQB Mk VII with the EA288 and not the EA189 that is subject to recall. Could go for the MQB Audi A3 instead. But a far better engine for these cars is the 1.4TSI ACT 140/150.
