Which trendy car with a large boot would you recommend for my makeup artist daughter?
My daughter had the bonnet on her '54 Alfa Romeo 147 blow back, which damaged the roof and smashed the windscreen while driving on the M6. She was ok and there was no other car involved. The insurance company has agreed a write-off sum of £4100. She has now got to find another car. She found the Alfa fine for most of her uses, but over the years, due to her work and the need to carry more equipment (she is a TV/film makeup artist) the boot too small. What car would you recommend? She is 30 years old, single and very dedicated to her work. She would like a "trendy/sporty" type of car. She travels on motorways a fair amount, but mostly uses the car to and from her local work at all hours of the day and night. She is thinking of leasing.

Give in and get a Focus. If she wants it to look more trendy, go for the 3-door version. Alternatively a 3-door Citroen C4.
