Change of cam belt
Can you please tell me if my car has a chain belt and if not when it needs to be changed.
It has presently done less than 30k.

I'm afraid that one is belt. Engine shared with Peugeots and Citroens. If it's a 2009, the belt is 6 years old and despite the low mileage I'd change it, tensioner and waterpump. The previopus Mk III Mondeo range was all chain: 1.8 and 2.0 petrol; 2.0 and 2.2 diesel. Diesel engines shared with the Jaguar X-Type.
