Buying a used Volkswagen Tiguan - what should I look out for?

I am thinking of buying a used (2013) Volkswagen Tiguan with 58,000 miles on the clock. How reliable are these cars and what should I look out for when test driving?

See the Tiguan entry in www.honestjohn.co.uk/carbycar/ Like most Volkswagens they have not lived up to the myth of reliability.
