BMW 320i xDrive hesitancy under acceleration
I have a 2013 BMW 320i petrol xDrive manual, with 31,000 miles on the clock. I have had an ongoing issue with a hesitancy under acceleration. When the car is cold, and for the first couple of miles, the power is not seamless as though there is a misfire, a slight jerkiness.
After a couple of miles, there are no probelms. I had this investigated by my BMW dealer and they replaced the xDrive transfer box at considerable expense under warranty but the problem still persists, any ideas?

The dealer obviously thought it was drivetrain related and went as far as to replace the transfer box. But I wonder if the problem is caused by a disparity in wear of the tyres. If the backs are worn down much more than the fronts it could confuse the 4WD system.
