Which SUV is best - Suzuki Vitara or Mazda CX-5?

I want to buy a used SUV. I'm interested in the Suzuki Vitara and Mazda CX-5. Ideally I want a 12 month old vehicle, with good comfort and reliability. Which would you recommend?
