Clutch, Focus 1.5 diesel
I am looking at the Titanium X model but am concerned about the Clutch problems that you have been notified of many times. What exactly is the fault and has Ford resolved this issue ?
I look forward to your comments, Thankyou.

The complaints from readers have tapered off. The problem seemed to have been a batch of faulty clutch slave cylinders the failure of which gave a similar effect to a driver slipping the clutch. Ford seemed willing to pay for replacement clutches on 5-speed cars, but not on 6-speed drivetrains that involved the much more expensive dual mass flywheel.
