Family car replacement - any recommendations?
I currently have a 2007 Honda Civic which has coped well as a small family car since the introduction of our first child. I'm now looking to upgrade to something a bit bigger for an expanding family and something that offers a bit more luxury and comfort, as the Civics’ ride is incredibly harsh.
I drive around 10,000 miles a year on mixed roads and I am open to both petrol and diesel. I’d rather have something with a bit more power over fuel economy, but reliability is more important than both. Budget is circa £8000-£9000.

Honda CR-V. Very comfortable. 40mpg and and no DPF worries with the 2007-2009 CR-V 2.2iCTDI. Just avoid 19" wheels.
