Can a traffic fine from Italy be enforced in the UK?
I have received a fine notification for an alleged traffic offence in Italy eight months ago. Can this be enforced in the UK?

If it was in a hire car, yes. If it was in your own car, probably not because the TISPOL agreement over cross border offences has not yet been subscribed to by all EC governments. But if it was your own car, that raises the question as to how they got your keepership details in the first place.
