Which used executive car should I buy for £13k?
My Volkswagen Passat Sport 1.9 TDI with 296,000 miles has been written off by a chap who jumped a red light. So I need a replacement with the following :
Good Economy
Relatively fast under 10 secs 0-62mph
Spacious
Reliable
Cheap to run
Too many requirements?
Would also like a sporty car with Sat Nav & Heated Leather seats. I've been looking at a few :
BMW 5 series M Sport 2007 onwards (saloon or touring)
BMW 3 series M Sport 2009 onwards (saloon or touring)
Merc E Class 250cdi Sport
Jag XF 2.2
Are there any others I should be considering?

M Sport = cripplingly hard ride, wheel rims prone to damage, expensive tyres that frequently need replacing. If you want economy and decent performance from a BMW get a 320dED on 205/60 R16 tyres. I averaged 63mpg in one over 8,000 miles. The E30 is actually quite a big car, a lot ore room inside than the E90.
