Buying a used Audi A6 - affected by emissions scandal?
I am very close to buying a second hand Audi A6 63 plate for £18k. It is a 2.0 TDI with 15k on the clock. The dealer has informed me that it is due for a recall. I suspect a 'wait and see' policy is probably the way forward but need to change my car.
Should I look elsewhere?

This will be an EA189, and it's expensive for a 2 year old car. A new Skoda Superb with the genuinely low emission EA288 2.0 TDI 150PS would make more sense to me at a list of £22k with maybe some haggle room: www.honestjohn.co.uk/road-tests/skoda/skoda-superb.../
