Buying a small hatch for commuting

Would you recommend the new Honda Jazz for a 15000 mile a year commute?

The 6-speed manual is low geared at only about 22mph/1,000rpm in 6th. The CVT-7 is more relaxed at about 30mph/1,000rpm in 7th. I got 58mpg out of one of these. The touch screen is easy and intuitive to use. I'd go for the CVT-7. Just don't expect massive acceleration for overtaking on country roads.

Unrivalled practicality and versatility. Plenty of room for four adults to travel in comfort. Surprisingly fun to drive, especially 1.5 i-VTEC Sport.
