Volkswagen emissions scandal - is the Polo affected?

I've got a late 2011 Polo 1.2 TDI and having just checked my VIN it looks like these engines are also a part of the scandal. Could you update your listing to include these engines? I guess the Audi A1 and Seat Ibiza are also in this category.

Yes, a couple of readers have reported this. It is the EA111 engine fitted to Polo, Ibiza, Fabia and Roomster. We don't know the extent with the 1.2 TDI.
