Which Mercedes-Benz A-Class models should my son avoid?
I remember you wrote recently about huge repair bills on early Mercedes-Benz A-Class models and wonder if you could advise which parts/years/mileages to avoid? My son has been recommended an A-Class for his wife's damaged back, as access and comfort would be perfect for her.

All you need to know about problems with early A-Classes are listed here. There's too much information for the e-mail: www.honestjohn.co.uk/carbycar/mercedes-benz/a-clas...d
If you're looking for access and comfort, have you considered a Toyota Yaris Verso? Lacks the style and badge of the Mercedes-Benz, but won't cause you anywhere near as much grief.: www.honestjohn.co.uk/carbycar/toyota/yaris-verso-2...0
