Cancellation of a Volkswagen order following emissions scandal - good idea?
My Passat is scheduled to be built this week. I have only paid a deposit & have not signed anything. Given the emissions scandal surrounding Volkswagen I am doubting my purchase.
Could I still cancel my order? I am fully aware that I would loose my deposit.

The latest Passat has the EA288 EU6 engine and is unaffected. The previous Passat kept the EA189 EU5 engine longer than a lot of other VWG cars which is why you have read 'Passats up to 2015', but that Passat is still the old model.
