Should my husband buy this Mercedes-Benz CLK with 200,000 miles?
Please could you tell me if you would touch this 2002 Mercedes-Benz 320 CLK open top car which my husband is considering? One owner, full Mercedes-Benz service history from new, immaculate condition but has done 200,000 miles. The independent dealer is offering 3 months' warranty.

That seems a very high mileage to us. We'd avoid it and find one with reasonable miles. 80,000 miles would be average for that age of car.

I recently almost bought a silver 2006 BMW 330i M Sport coupe for £9400, but I pulled out because of the mileage - it had covered 91,000 miles. What do you think of such a purchase, of a fairly young car...

When do you think second hand prices of petrol and diesel cars will get back to the historical norm when a car lost 50% of its value in the first three years?

Much better second attempt at CLK. Goes well, handles well and is comfortable. Attractive looks.
