Automatic gearboxes?
I am looking to buy a diesel auto with a reliable gearbox. Budget £10,000 to £12,000. What type of auto gearbox do the Kia & Hyundai models have? Theses models are 2012 on. The new Kia has a DCT transmission and the Hyundai has a blue drive DCT transmission. Which of these cars and transmissions do you recommend?

The Cee'd and i30 1.6 CRDI originally had 4-speed torque converter autos; then from the facelift ('Mk II') versions had 6-speed torque converter autos. Very reliable. Only the petrol had the 6-speed DCT, but that has now been developed into a 7-speed DCT and all versions including diesels are getting it.
