Lexus RX450h navigation problems

I used the voice command to 'Go Home' in my Lexus RX 450h and 20 minutes later got a message to say there were traffic issues on the selected route and would I like to change route. I selected 'NO' and pressed the 'Enter' button but no response. I tried the Menu switch but no response from that either. I cannot access any of the facilities covered in the menu. Have you heard of this problem before?

Not sure that your satnav fits the same category, but there has been a widespread problem with the latest Toyota/Lexus satnav traffic jam avoidance, of which I have direct experience. All 'current' Toyota navigation systems use the same software. There is a manufacturer's advisory that if customers complain about nonsense directions in UK, France or Spain and their navigation has Software Version: 2.8.4al it requires upgrading free of charge, takes about one hour.
