Replacement for a Hyundai ix20
I wish to replace my Hyundai petrol 1.4 ix20 Style with something similar Are the Ford B-MAX or Vauxhall Meriva any better or is there any other MPV/crossover/SUV I should consider?

The B-MAX is great but has had manual clutch problems and Powershift problems. The Meriva 1.4T is the Meriva to go for with a bit of power: www.honestjohn.co.uk/road-tests/vauxhall/vauxhall-.../ The Kia Venga is almost exactly the same as the ix20. You could also consider Honda's new HR-V: www.honestjohn.co.uk/road-tests/honda/honda-hr-v-2.../ Honda's new Jazz: www.honestjohn.co.uk/road-tests/honda/honda-jazz-2.../ and the new Suzuki Vitara: www.honestjohn.co.uk/road-tests/suzuki/suzuki-vita.../ Check out any car for developing fault at www.honestjohn.co.uk/carbycar

Cheap to run. Good visibility. Plenty of rear passenger and boot space. Better engines and transmissions in 2016.

Sliding side doors and no central pillar mean unimpeded access. Five star Euro NCAP rating. Engines include 1.0 litre three-cylinder EcoBoost petrol. Decent drive.
