Why doesn't the Mazda 6 come in diesel automatic?
Is there a reason why Mazda does not manufacture the 6 in diesel automatic, as many other manufacturers do have diesel autos? This would drop the CO2 level and allow a reduced road tax.

Not necessarily by much. Would make sense if they could get Getrag/Ford's Powershift transmission, but a diesel automatic in this class is now very difficult to sell - unless it is under the Company Tax limit of 160g/km.
