Fiat 500X paint colour choice

I have decided to buy a Fiat 500X 1.4 after a test drive at my local fiat dealer. However before I order one I wanted to see what they looked like in red and also white. I emailed Fiat customer service to see if there was a red or white car to view within 30 miles of my postcode. They have refused to tell me saying I have to go to my local agent and ask them what cars the other dealers have? I have replied that as a F iat shareholder as well as a prospective customer I am not impressed. Surely is not an unreasonable enquiry to ask what cars they in there showrooms?

Data Protection prevents them from telling you which cars they have sold and to whom. So it's a matter of keeping your eyes open. New cars invariably look different once they appear on the street and some suit some colours a lot better than others. Even when we road test cars in a variety of colours on a launch, they look different when they appear on UK streets. That said, white and red are generally safer than other colours, especially metallics that can look completely wrong on some cars. Bossa Nova white was always the safest (and cheapest) colour for an ordinary 500 until Volare blue came along.
