Alternator failure - is the dealer liable?
My son bought a used car from a dealer a month ago. It broke down last week and the AA said the alternator had burnt out. The trader will not fix or pay for repair under the standard three month warranty as he said the alternator comes under wear and tear. Is this right? what can he do?
