What's causing a delay to the delivery of our Hyundai ix35 4x4?

We ordered a premium Hyundai ix35 4x4 with media and individual packs in Sirus silver on 14 May 2010. Delivery was estimated at to be before the end of July, but has now been put back to end of August or mid September. Very frustrating, but hopefully worth the wait.

This is due to Korean demand exceeding supply for the new R Series engine fitted to the ix35, new Sportage, Santa Fe, Sorento and Sedona. This will be resolved by September when production of the old engines winds down and the lines turn over to building 'R' type engines.
