Are high mileage diesels reliable?

I'm thinking of buying a 2012 BMW X3 diesel auto with 102.000 miles on the clock and a full service history. Is there anything I should be wary of?

BMW FSH might mean an oil change no more frequently than 20k-30k so check the timing chain very carefully. Probably better to have it fitted with a new tensioner anyway as a precaution. More here: www.honestjohn.co.uk/carbycar/bmw/x3-f25-2010/?sec...d
