Need a large car with soft suspension - any ideas?

I am a 6.6 feet tall and need a large car with a soft ride. I have £8000 to spend and want something with lots of space in the back, but dislike French cars. What do you recommend?

Best legroom front and back, a Skoda Superb. Then you have to try to find one on 16-inch wheels with 205/55 R16 or 205/60 R16 tyres for comfort.

Limousine-like amounts of rear legroom. Clever dual tailgate means it's both a hatch and a saloon. GreenLine model is very economical. A lot of car for the money.
