Why won't my car achieve its official fuel economy?
I recently bought a Mercedes-Benz E-Class Estate (220CDI Blue Efficiency) and done 3000 miles. However, I cannot get much above 46mpg, which is a long way off the official figures. Any idea why this is?

You can check here: www.honestjohn.co.uk/realmpg/mercedes-benz And contribute to it yourself. The average for the E220CDI BlueEfficiency is 43.3mpg.
