How can I fix my car's demisting problems?

I have an Audi A1 with the 1.4 Tfsi engine and it suffers with terrible condensation, which can take up to 20 minutes to clear. My local dealer has had the car in, but said there's nothing they can do as this is due to 'atmospheric' conditions. Do you have any advice to where i could go now? Surely this car is not fit for purpose?

Assuming there is no moisture or damp inside the car, first start the engine. Set the cabin temperature to max with the a/c on and set to recirculate and the vents directed to the windscreen. Then walk round the car scraping the ice off. By the time you get back in the a/c should have dried the condensation inside the car.
