Why won't my Mazda 6 connect to my iPod?
I bought a new Mazda 6 in 2014 and have had constant problems with the connectivity between my iPod and the factory fitted infotainment system. I have tried every avenue to try and get Mazda to fix it, but the refuse and keep saying that compatible devices are listed on some obscure website.
I was not made aware of this when I bought the car and the info on the website is not accurate. How do I get the issue repaired?

I ran a Mazda 6 for a year and 14,000 miles and never had any such issue of connectivity with an iPhone 4S (actually two iPhone 4Ss: mine and my son's). It even played obscure radio channels via the 4S. However, the revamped Mazda 6 arriving in February has changes to its satnav and infotainment including a new DAB radio. iPods are a bit old hat now. You can probably get everything on it transferred to an iPhone at a Vodaphone shop and then be better off all round,
