Need a cheap and reliable car for £2000
I'm a medical student soon to graduate and I need a small reliable car to get to the hospital in. I will probably clock up 12,000 miles over the year but I'm likely to be placed in London after a year so might not need the car, thus hoping for a decent resale value.
My budget is fairly small at £2000 and I'm quite tall, so can't manage Toyota Aygos or Smart Car. However, I'm happy with Volkswagen Polo size and up. What should I buy?

Best for that sort of money is probably a Toyota Yaris 1.3, assuming you find a good one. Alternatively a square shape Fiesta 1.25 or 1.4 has a good reputation for reliability. Far better than a Polo.
