Broken heater in Vauxhall Vectra - what's the cause?

My wife has a Vauxhall Vectra 2002 (Vectra C) and the heater blower doesn't work. I have replaced the resister and the replay, but it still doesn't work. There is a clicking noise coming from the glove box when I click the heater on/off. What else could I try?

The clicking noise will be the relay, so I don't know what you replaced thinking it was the relay. I guess it's clicking because the motor has failed.

Far better than previous Vectra. Now with decent handling and an excellent ride. Plenty of safety kit. Roomy in the front. Big boot. Good looks.
