Ford S-Max suffering injector problems - can I fix it myself?
My Ford S-Max has a diesel leak from what I believe is the fuel injector manifold. It sits in the middle of the engine and six silver metal pipes come off to feed the injectors and the top has three ridges one marked 1050 and the 2nd DK.
Under acceleration, a stream of diesel comes from the area between the top left ridge and bottom ridge. Am I correct in describing this as a' fuel injector manifold'? How easy is it to replace and what's the likely cost?

Reads like the common rain of a common rail diesel. Specialist job by a diesel injection specialist or a Ford dealer or Ford diesel specialist.
