Can I get a decent car for £500?
I have a tiny budget of £500-£600 for a second hand car, but have no idea which make or model to go for. Can you help?

£500 - £600 just buys a cheap banger so best to stick to cheap bangers that are more easily fixed, such as a Ford Fiesta 1.25 (NOT a 1.3). Check the car very carefully for rust. Beware 'reliable' Japanese cars for £500 - £600, because at this money they rarely are reliable and are much dearer to fix.
