Need a reliable auto - what do you recommend?
I am looking for a new or nearly new medium sized car. I'm worried about the fluid issue and hesitance in pulling away with a Volkswagen DSG and also concerned about the reliability of the new French auto boxes on the Renault Captur and Peugeot 308. Please can you advise the best choice?

You need a torque converter auto. Big: Mazda 6. Smaller: Mazda 3. Both have excellent 6 speed torque converter autos with perfectly matched ratios that you will very rarely need or even want to override.
