Which tyres should I fit to my Fiat 500?

I need new front tyres for my Fiat 500 TwinAir, what would you suggest?

Secondly, due to becoming grand parents, we need a new car to replace my partner's Toyota Aygo. She will be taking over my Fiat 500 which I have been using for my 50 mile daily commute for the last year and I will have up to £10,000 to spend.

I love the twin air engine, but need a bigger car with four-doors (Panda not big enough!). I was thinking about the Dacia Sandero 0.9 petrol engine as I am not sure my mileage is high enough for a diesel.

I intend to keep car for minimum of 4 years so would pay for extra warranty, looked at Kia Rio but engines uninspiring. What do you recommend?

Depends on the wheel and tyre size that could be 14, 15 or 16-inch. If it's a Lounge, standard kit was 185/55 R15 Michelin Energy Savers, which are a bit hard but last well and give good economy, so if that's what it has, stick with them.

If you want to take a chance, a Lancia Ypsilon is really a five-door FIAT 500, available with the TwinAir motor and, because they can't sell them, they have been going cheap. KIA Rios look good and are reliable, but no fun to drive. C1s, 108s, Aygos, Twingos, Ups, Miis and Citigos all come with dive-doors but are probably too small.

The outgoing Mazda 2 1.3TS2 is fun to drive, comes with three or five-doors, and is probably discounted. Fiesta 1.0EcoBoost 100s and 125s 5-doors are also fun and discounted down to from around £11,000.
