Can you recommend winter tyres for my Audi Allroad?

You have often advocated switching to winter tyres over the winter. I live in a remote area and frequently have to contend with deep snow and mud. My 2006 Audi Allroad is ideal, except it would benefit from more aggressive winter tyres during winter conditions. Audi say only exclusive "Allroad tyres" will fit but since they are all-year tyres, I am successfully but inconveniently having to use chains on occasions, so it can't be an issue about clearance between tyre and bodywork or suspension. Please can you recommend winter tyres for the Allroad?

Legally, I can't. You will have to take advice from a specialist such as www.conti-online.com , www.mytyres or www.wheel-base.co.uk. Gislaved NordFrost 3s are reasonably hard-wearing winter tyres.
