What are the different classifications for mobility scooters?
Thanks for your advice regarding solar chargers, I have taken your suggestion and bought a trickle charger. As well as a car, I own an electric mobility scooter that requires to be registered with the DVLC and gets a free disc.
On buying my latest scooter, as well as the disc, which of course is no longer required after October, I was sent a form to get number plates although there is nowhere to put them. My supplier told me to ignore it as it was a mistake. I contacted DVLC but got no reply. Have you any views on this matter?

None. But there is a page on the Gov.UK website that explains the different classifications of mobility scooter. Above a certain power output, it does have to be registered and carry plates. Below that power output it doesn't: www.gov.uk/mobility-scooters-and-powered-wheelchai...e
