How can I return my car's paintwork?

I've just purchased a 2010 Toyata Verso. The paintwork looked good in the forecourt with a couple of patches where it seemed as if the surface shine has been rubbed off. However, after a week or so more marks are appearing, finger marks as if something on hands has taken the shine off, now it has lost its forecourt gloss. Perhaps the patches are where someone has tried to remove fingermarks. What can I do to rectify the paintwork?

Ask a valeter, and if he can't do it take it to a car paint shop. (If you want to try yourself, Meguiars does some products but you run the risk of making it worse.)
