Honda insurance won't cover me - what can I do?

I have had my Honda Jazz car insured with Honda car insurance via Equity Red Star insurance for two years and I have just received a letter from them. It says that, based on the details they currently hold, they cannot renew my policy.

I phoned them immediately to find out what details that they have that prevents them from renewing my policy only to be told that it was because I was 'retired'. Is this discrimination?

No, it's underwriting. But Honda Car Insurance must be a broker, so it's up to them to find you a different insurer. Alternatively, ditch Honda Insurance and go straight to LV or NFU Mutual.
