Which MPV could we replace our diesel Vauxhall Zafira with?
We are on our second Vauxhall Zafira, both bought new. First petrol one was good. This second one (now three years old) is a diesel and generally not a good car. I want to change to another 7-seater petrol, new or nearly new. We are a family of six (four kids). Most of the mileage is done in London on school runs. What would you recommend?

The Mazda5 is a great family MPV, or there's the Volkswagen Touran. Both are better than the Zafira with more versatile rear seats and better build quality. We'd recommend diesel versions of both, but if you're in London a petrol is probably better, as diesel engines don't fare well being constantly used for short journeys. The latest Renault Grand Scenic is also a good choice, but avoid the previous one as it had a poor track record for reliability.
