Water damaged BMW - should the dealer pay for repairs?
BMW took my car in three months ago after my ECU failed due to water damage, I paid £1500 to have it replaced and repaired. Ten days ago it failed again and I took it back to BMW main dealer where it was fixed, but now they are saying it is too old for them to help and it needs replacing due to water damage from another area close by.
What are my rights, what do I do and what was the point of putting an ECU in if it was going to happen again? Surely they should repair it free of charge?

If you drown your ECU, have it replaced, then drown it again, then surely you must bear part of the responsibility?
