Are performance fuels worth the extra cost?
Is standard or higher octane petrol used in EU economy testing? And is it worth paying the extra in an ordinary car?

The very best, usually Shell V-Power 99 Ron. Not only that the engines are calibrated so they are optimised on this fuel to give the best possible results. So if you run them on inferior fuel you will inevitably get inferior performance, inferior economy and increased CO2 output.
