Premium fuel - will it really improve my economy?
Following your advice, I filled up with Super Unleaded and was slightly disappointed to find I only got an extra 20 miles out of my 40-litre tank. I have filled up a second time, this time with Shell V-Power, and will check again. But I was wondering how soon I should start to see a difference in petrol consumption?

Well that's an extra 2-3mpg. It should improve to 4-6mpg after a couple more fills, but only if you use the extra torque at low revs to change up earlier. Carry on driving exactly the same and you won't see much improvement.
