Refunds

I bought a Freelander 2 in July 13, in Feb of this year it went in for a new rear differential (one of the bearings had failed). Since this was fitted the car has been available for use for two weeks only (and in that two weeks it broke down). The car has had a new ECU, repairs to the wiring, it is currently in the garage awaiting repair to some electronic module associated with the rear diff. Needless to say I have lost all confidence in the car and wonder if I am entitled to a full refund of the original purchase price. Many thanks for your help.

I don't think so because it will be difficult to prove that the car was faulty when you bought it 9 months ago. Law here: www.honestjohn.co.uk/faq/consumer-rights/
