What's the most comfortable car on the market?

We are looking for a diesel estate that gives us a comfortable journey as well as good fuel economy and reliability. What do you recommend?

You don't give a budget, but one of the most comfortable reasonably priced cars I have driven in recent years was the 2006-2009 Honda CR-V 2.2iCTDI.
