Car failed after just one month and dealer won't repair - what are my options?
I recently bought a used Fiat Stilo (2002) with a guaranteed mileage of 70,000. The car was sold with a three month warranty, but the dealer never gave me any paperwork to prove this.
After just over a month of ownership the car’s clutch hydraulic system failed. The dealer refused to collect the car and I eventually managed to get it towed to him. He now says his mechanic has had a look at it, but it’s not his responsibility to fix or refund as it is just wear and tear! Is this a reasonable stance when I've only had the car 1 and a half months, only done 800 miles?
