Using premium fuel in my Volkswagen Passat has improved fuel economy and burns more cleanly.
For a while I had been sceptical about the benefits of using higher quality fuel opposed to cheaper supermarket grades. Now that I have been using Shell on a regular basis, it has cleaned the injectors on my diesel Volkswagen Passat. Under hard acceleration, none or hardly any smoke is produced. The increased mpg is also well worth the extra outlay.
