Is there a car in which the rear seats fold down to make a reasonably-sized bed?
I need a car that has rear folding seats to make a bed for occasional nights away with reasonable headroom, but not so tall that I can't easily get ladders on and off the roof. I have between £2000 and £3000 to spend, and I really don't want anything as tall as a van. All the campers seem to go for lots of money.

You can do this in 5-door version of the 2000 - 2006 Honda Civic. The front seats move forward far enough for the backs to go down and form a relatively level bed.
