Why won't my Honda CR-V do any better than 28 miles to the gallon?
I drive a 2003 Honda CR-V with 48,000 miles on the clock. I cannot achieve more than 28 miles to the gallon. I have tried four tanks of Shell V Power and still no improvement. It's proving expensive.

That's normal for this car, especially if it's an automatic. You have the most reliable SUV ever built. You don't have the most economical one.
